The editorial rules separating stored public signals, interpretation, advertising, and personal judgment.

Selection signals
Representative, empathy, wit-candidate, and debate labels use disclosed combinations of likes, replies, recurring appearances, and snapshot rank. A label is editorial context, not a factual claim about a person.
AI and human judgment
The current daily edition uses deterministic stored-data rules and does not run an LLM for every comment. Any future AI analysis must be limited, cached, identified, and reviewable.
Independence and advertising
Advertising does not purchase ranking or selection. Ads are withheld from loading, empty, error, noindex, and data-insufficient pages.
Limitations
A snapshot is a limited observation of public reactions at collection time. It is not a complete account of a commentor, community, culture, or later changes on YouTube.
