The idea of two planets meeting so closely, yet never being able to stay together. One is fixed in its orbit, while the other is a traveling star. It’s like meeting someone you thought was “the one,” only for them to become “the lesson.” Though the meeting was short and sweet, it was pure and real. However, it was never meant to last. This music video hits very close to home. I just got out of an almost seven-year relationship last month. Seven years is a long time, yet somehow, it also feels like it went by so quickly. And while it still hurts a lot, I can look back and celebrate it for what it was, cherish the memories we made together, and continue moving forward. The universe is vast, and the stars are limitless. Just like in the MV, I feel like I can now distinguish asteroids from stars. And maybe that was the lesson I needed all along. Thank you IU @dlwlrma. This was a well needed release of emotions you brought me.
