“나도 미국 처음이민왔을때.. 진짜 영어 너무 빨라서 개무시당하고 그랬는데.. 그래도 회사에서 직원들은 다들 내가 이민온지 얼마 안된 사람이라 많이 도와줬다. 지금도 가끔 레스토랑이나 카페 같은데서 여행자나 이민초기에 와서 영어 잘 못하는 사람 만나면 내가 도와주는데.. 그때마다 나도 저런시절이 기억난다.. 내가 영어 못해서 주눅들어있을때..우리회사 매니저가 그랬지.. 너는 영어만 못할뿐이지..다른건 잘하니까괜찮다고.. 그말이 큰 힘이 됐다.진짜..”
