“In the book series What If…?, Doom hunted a device called the psiphon, which transfers someone's nexus status to the user. Logan, for example, is revealed in Deadpool and Wolverine to be the "anchor" of that universe. If Doom had used the psiphon on Logan while he was still alive, Doom would have become the anchor being. The books describe nexus beings in the same way that D&W defines anchor beings. Maybe he is holding that!”
