“Especially looking forward to this because most of what people think of as 'werewolf lore' was an invention of Golden Age Hollywood. As such, Eggers probably isn't interested in treading that ground, and will instead explore actual medieval folklore. In a world of filmmaking where virtually no one seems all that concerned with historical authenticity, Eggers is consistent in his insistence upon it, and that sets his work apart, and makes his stories so immersive.”
